Welcome to the Membership page
By reading this page we trust you are considering joining our Club. Doing so will help us consolidate our position within the top 40 English clubs at Men’s 1st XV level. It will also help us to maintain our position as one of the leading community clubs in the country delivering well-coached and medically well-supervised rugby to over 850 players of both sexes. We have approximately 600 junior players and a Women's section boasting 3 XV’s, the only club in the country to do so, with our 1st XV Premiership champions for 3 of the past 4 seasons.
Richmond FC has moved into the digital age allowing you the opportunity to complete your membership application on line, and to pay by Direct Debit Annually.
We have set up an easy-to-complete form to take advantage of this opportunity. Just click here
How and Why?
To achieve the above, we are delighted to advise that we have teamed up with First Capital Cashflow ** to offer new and existing members the opportunity of paying their subscriptions, and more, by direct debit (DDI) rather than standing order or other payment methods.
The advantage of DDI is that you do not need to change your standing order as and when subscriptions are increased. From corresponding with members over the years we know that it is a nuisance to have to change the instructions to your bank and, frankly, it creates a lot of work at both ends to have to chase and pay shortfalls in subscriptions!
In addition, it will mean that each year your subscription will be paid at the beginning of the membership year so that you will receive your membership cards, fixture books and season tickets (if applicable) at the earliest possible time before the rugby season starts.
For those who have previously relied on paying by cheque it also represents a more efficient way of handling renewal of your membership. Of course, all payments are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee, in similar fashion to your other DDI instructions on your utility bills, for example.
** First Capital Cashflow offer this facility to several rugby clubs. They also number some household names amongst their clientele including Centrica, the holding company of British Gas, and QBE, the insurance company that sponsors the autumn internationals at Twickenham.
If you do not wish to use DDI then click here for the PDF of the membership form, subscription rates and entrance fees. Complete this and fax or send it back to the Club. Better still, come down to a home game on Saturday and hand it to one of the Club officials.
