Womens Tyrell’s Premier 15s – Bristol v Richmond, Cleve RFC KO 2pm
After an immense amount of hard work and commitment from all concerned our WOMEN 1st XV finally KO the season in the new Tyrell’s Premier 15s competition on Sunday and we wish them every success. Good luck to all our girls and know that your club is behind you every step of the way.
By chance the game is also against Bristol but unfortunately for various logistical reasons it cannot be played as a double header with the men’s game at Ashton Gate. Instead it will take place at Cleve RFC KO 2pm and directions can be found here

Saturday games
The VIKINGS are at home to Cambridge II KO 2.30pm whilst the SAXONS are away to Bishop’s Stortford II KO 3pm. The NORMANS take on London Scottish III away KO 1.30pm and the JUTES and HEAVIES are resting

Sunday 17th September
On Sunday the MINIS and YOUTH are training at normal times.

Richmond RUNFEST Saturday 16th/Sunday 17th September
The annual Richmond RUNFEST takes place this weekend across both Saturday and Sunday for the first time, so the surrounding area will be busy.
On Saturday over 1000 kids are running in the Kids' Mile races with kids getting a free NIKE T-shirt and medal with every race entry. There will be all day multi-sport entertainment for the kids as well as an 'Alice in Wonderland' performance followed by arts and craft with Nursery Rhymes on the stage.
On Sunday the 'Richmond Family Mile' will take place at 2pm - a fun run for the whole family to take part in, running in-front of the music festival stage.
On both days there will be delicious quality food vendors, a Fullers bar (for the thirsty adults) and live music and DJ's throughout the weekend. And not forgetting the 'Richmond Fitness Expo', which offers the very latest in healthy active living products and advice to kick start your autumn fitness.
You can rock up on the day to take part, so for more information please visit www.richmondrunningfestival.com

Richmond v Jersey Saturday 23rd September KO 2.30pm
Women 1st XV v DMP Sharks Saturday 23rd September KO 5pm
Next Saturday 23rd September the first of several double headers takes place when the MENS FIRST XV return home to play old friends Jersey at the slightly earlier time of 2.30pm - followed by the WOMENS 1ST XV first home game of the season against DMP Sharks KO 5pm.
Please do come down for this auspicious occasion and shout on our boys and girls with the one and only Richmond chant. It gives them a real lift to hear that support behind them.
There will be the usual pre-match lunch and if you wish to book a place then please let me know asap. Timings are 12.30pm for 1pm in the Members Bar and the cost is £30/head to include a match programme but not match entrance to the men’s game. I would advise that the women’s game is free entrance.
As already mentioned it is also the inaugural lunch of the new Richmond Ladies that Lunch Society (what better day than the day of the first double header) and if you would like to be part of that group then please contact myself or Karen Heaton on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
There is no criteria to join – just be involved in some way with Richmond as a supporter, player, player’s partner, player’s family, mini mum, mini grand mum, Heavies wife  etc etc   - whatever! Numbers are growing and it promises to be a very lively occasion but there is still room for more so do get in touch - the more the merrier!

Rotherham v Richmond Saturday 30th September KO 2pm
The final Saturday of the month, 30th September sees the FIRST XV travel to play Rotherham away KO 2pm.
The team will be travelling by train taking the 9.30am from Kings Cross to Doncaster with coach transfer to and from the ground, and returning on the 18.18 from Doncaster, arriving Kings Cross 20.13

Important Change of Date:–  London Scottish v Richmond KO 3pm now SUNDAY 3rd DEC
Women 1st XV v Wasps now AT HOME SUNDAY 3rd DEC KO 12.45pm
Please note the change of date of the above games
This is due to the fact that SKY TV are filming both games as a double header which will of course make for an exciting day – if a tad challenging logistically!!
Further details will follow but I thought it as well to give early notice asap
