Rest weekend – 4th/5th November
This weekend 4th/5th November sees the FIRST XV enjoy some well-deserved R & R as it is a Championship rest weekend.

Loughborough Lightning v Women 1st XV Saturday 4th November KO 3pm
The WOMEN 1st XV however are very much in action and are off to face new opponents Loughborough Lightning based at Loughborough University KO 3pm. The team are travelling by coach and any supporters are of course very welcome - just contact me if you wish to book a place.
Congratulations to our Women 1st XV Captain Row Burnfield who has been named in the England squad for the three upcoming November Old Mutual Wealth Series matches against Canada.
And also to new recruit Emelie Hellgren who has just been named in the Swedish squad.
Looks like we are doing something right!

Saturday games
After the Vikings v Saxons game last weekend another needle match will take place this Saturday when the JUTES play the NORMANS in The Zoo Shield Division 3 match KO 1pm. So if you are suffering from rugby withdrawal symptoms then this is the match to be at – the banter is once again building.
The VIKINGS are away to Esher II KO 1.30pm and the SAXONS make the long journey west to play Cinderford II KO 2.30pm
The HEAVIES are resting.

Richmond v Doncaster Knights Friday 10th November KO 7.45pm
The Autumn Internationals are just around the corner and start at Twickenham on 11th November when England take on Argentina. For that reason our FIRST XV game against Doncaster Knights will take place next Friday evening 10th November KO 7.45pm, a time we have found to be popular amongst supporters as it kick starts a rugbyfest weekend.
We are once again holding a curry and cheese supper before the game from 6.30pm - cost £20/head to include a match programme but not match entrance and if you wish to book in then please come back to me asap as it is growing by the day.

Richmond Women 1st XV v Harlequins Saturday 11th November KO 2.30pm
This is definitely a date that needs to be in the diary as the WOMEN 1ST XV take on Harlequins at home KO 2.30pm. For obvious reasons the whole club needs to be there in support of our girls so please do come down in good vocal voice – click here for more details.
