Community Support: School Meals
If you or your family are having to self-isolate and therefore your children cannot attend school, and as a result will miss out on a free school meal, we would like to offer our support by delivering food to you whilst you’re in isolation. We will collect the meals from your catering team at your school and deliver to your doorstep.
Fundraising Event: The Victoria Foundation's Big Night In
Get behind club sponsor The Victoria Foundation by supporting their 'Big Night In’ on Friday 11th December 2020.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on The Victoria Foundation's fundraising with the cancellation of events including its annual ball and the loss of income at a time when families in our community and medical students need the charity most.
You are invited to join TVF’s Big Night In from the comfort of your home for a very special evening on Friday 11th December from 7:30pm where you can 'meet' with friends in the 'Locktail Reception' before the main event at 8pm. There is a fabulous line up of entertainment including Sir Trevor McDonald OBE in conversation with Linda Duberley his former colleague and TVF Ambassador. There will also be opera, singing and signing choir, virtual magic, and you will hear inspiring stories from those that TVF has helped. There will also be the opportunity to win superb prizes in the online auction and the diamond draw with the star prize a diamond bracelet (value of £1,500) - kindly donated once again by David's Jewellers Richmond.
Guests will receive a 20% discount code for JUSTEAT. For details and to book visit: www.jumblebee.co.uk/TVFsbignightin
If you are unable to join the virtual event you can still support the evening by entering the Diamond Draw, tickets are £10 and can be purchased by clicking here.
The money raised will help ensure that The Victoria Foundation can continue to provide mobility aids so that disabled children can gain greater independence, accessible transport to keep our community connected, and financial grants for medical students to cover the cost of textbooks and travel to hospital placements which is supporting our wonderful NHS doctors of the future.
Len's Lockdown Challenge: Heavies Foundation
We are delighted to be supporting Len Wilby with his “lockdown challenge” who is in turn fundraising for the Richmond Heavies Foundation.
Len is the father of a Richmond youth player and has set himself the challenge to run the “equivalent” distance between some of London’s great landmarks and cover a total distance of around 120 km or 74 miles over the next four weeks, finishing by Wednesday 2nd December.
