Richmond Rugby Festivals
Richmond Spring Festival - Sunday 8th March 2020
We host a Kids First Festival each Autumn and Spring with many local clubs attending but also many from Surrey, Middlesex, Berkshire, Kent and Hampshire.
The ethos is a fun day for the Kids but also for the parents, coaches and referees. The chance to meet up with friends from other clubs and to watch some/play some great rugby!
U7, U8, U9, U10 & U11 - Please bring Balanced Mixed Ability Teams.
Coach/Referee Briefings: 9.10am Pitch side for each age group. Matches will begin at 9.30am.
Pitch Layout is here.
If you find you need to be in 2 places at once please talk nicely to a pitch marshal, who will be able to help. Some teams will
play back to back matches so that we finish on time.
This is a Kids First festival and we are expecting Coaches and Parents to respect the Kids First ethos.
The main car parking is in Old Deer Park car park, please see parking map below, and please use the footbridge and/or pedestrian crossing when crossing the A316.
Some parking permits have been issued to visiting teams so they may park in the Athletic ground these are aimed at those bringing tents(there is plenty of space for them around the edges of the pitches, but do bring a mallet!). If you do not have a permit please park in the Old Deer Park car park.
The main gate to the ground will be manned and the rear gate closed to cars.
Below are images of the parking charges for the nearby car parks, the RINGO app is the one to download and get working.
Old Deer Park and the Athletic ground are both open to the public please do keep an eye on all children and remind parents and children to be aware of stranger danger.
Those using the A316 are reminded that average speed cameras are in place.
