The inaugural Richmond Heavies Foundation lunch is now just over a week away.
There will be over 500 people attending this exciting lunch in The Grand Connaught Rooms to raise money for the foundation on the 12th October.
The speakers include Phil Tufnell; Lee Mears; Michael Lynagh and Owen Slot.
Many of you have asked how you can support this initiative and here is that opportunity, as a silent auction is now available online. This allows you to bid and be part of the event, even if you cannot make it.
There are some incredible items, so please do click on this link HERE and place a bid.
If you would rather simply donate, that is also possible by clicking on this link HERE.
The main aim of the foundation is to provide health education and support to the club as a whole, to help prevent critical illness where possible. To this end, it has already offered to pay for heart screening for the elite teams (men and women); as well as securing a date for a similar screening for the youth section of the club. It intends to do so much more in 2019, but this is a great start.
It is a fantastic idea and represents everything good about the club.
The trustees would very much like you to be involved, so please bid, donate, or forward a PDF of the document HERE, to someone you know who would be interested in any of the items.
