Richmond v London Scottish Saturday 8th December KO 3pm (Cup)
This Saturday 8th December the FIRST XV play London Scottish for the third time this season in round 5 of the Championship Cup at home KO 3pm. A game between the two clubs is never just another game so please put the Christmas shopping on hold for the afternoon and come down to support the lads as it makes a huge difference for them to hear the Richmond chant echoing round the ground rather than the noise of the dreaded bagpipes!
There are a few places left at the pre match lunch but I do need to know by return if you wish to book in.

Our Match Sponsor this week is Club Partner, Cantell & Co, a privately owned estate agent that delivers a professional service in a personal way. David & Anissa Cantell only started the business 5 years ago, and were recently voted in the 2019 Best Estate Agents Guide as the No 1 branch in the UK for Sales & Lettings which is a remarkable achievement. We look forward to welcoming Anissa and her guests here on Saturday, for more information visit their website at www.cantellandco.com/  or contact them on 020 8940 7373.

Our Match Ball Sponsor on Saturday is our long-time Club Partner, Stone Rowe Brewer LLP, a local firm of solicitors with offices in both Twickenham & Teddington. Formed in 1976, they offer a specialist service in a wide range of legal areas, and we are extremely grateful to Elizabeth Cobb and her team for their continued support, and once again look forward to hosting them at Saturday’s match. For more information about SRB’s services, visit www.srb.co.uk/

Other Saturday games
It is another busy one for our senior men as the SAXONS take on the VIKINGS in Zoo League 1, KO 1pm on pitch 4 - a good sharpener for the First XV game if you are around early doors.
The JUTES are also at home KO 1.30pm to Dorking II – whilst the HEAVIES take on old rivals London Irish Amateur Vets at home KO 2.30pm.

Sunday 9th December
The MINIS are training at home (it is their Christmas party – you have been warned!). YOUTH games: U14 v Old Cranleighans at home KO 12pm, U14 v Barnes away, U15 v Wimbledon away.
On Sunday it is definitely the Women’s day so do be there supporting our girls as the WOMEN 1ST XV take on Worcester Valkyries at home at the earlier time of 12pm followed by the WOMEN DEVELOPMENT v Worcester Valkyries Development also at home KO 2pm.
Richmond Members get into the 1st XV game for free (on production of a current Membership Card) whilst non-members pay £5. Under 16 go free.

Ealing v Richmond Saturday 15th December KO 2pm – NB CHANGE OF TIME
The final game of the first round of the Cup competition takes place next Saturday 15th December when the FIRST XV play Ealing away and please note the change of KO time to 2pm

Double Header Day: Richmond v Bedford Blues Saturday 22nd December KO 3.15pm
Women 1st XV v DMP KO 1pm
We end 2018 in style as on Saturday 22nd December not only are both the men and the women in action at home in a double header against Bedford Blues in the Championship KO 3.15pm and DMP in the TP15 KO 1pm, but Sky are filming the whole day. A great way to welcome in the Christmas holidays and we look forward to seeing you all down here for what will be a very lively day.
A Christmas menu will of course be on offer at the pre-match lunch but numbers for that are very nearly at maximum already so if you wish to book in you need to do it sooner rather than later please with payment up front. And I would warn you that as the numbers are so big it will be trestle style seating to fit you all in!

Big Game 11 – Saturday 29th December
As part of a joint-promotional initiative with Harlequins around our respective Christmas fixtures (non-clashing), Quins return to Twickenham Stadium on Dec 29th when they face Wasps Rugby in Big Game 11 (kick-off 16:00).
Tickets are £25/£15 and for groups of 5 or more there is a 20% discount on offer, so club together with your friends to visit Rugby HQ post-Christmas. Tickets can be booked through Quins.co.uk or 0208 410 6010.
Big Game prides itself on being a day out for all the family as the worlds of rugby and entertainment collide with spectacular performances, jaw-dropping pyrotechnics and fun for all.
