Travel disruption this weekend

This weekend the club is back in action with a vengeance!

London Irish v Richmond SUNDAY 13th January KO 3pm
On SUNDAY the FIRST XV travel down memory lane to the Madejski Stadium, Reading to take on top of the table London Irish KO 3pm.

Women 1st XV v Wasps Saturday 12th January KO 12pm
There is great rugby at the club on Saturday as the WOMEN 1st XV take on Wasps at home with the early KO time of 12pm. So do come along and support our girls as it really lifts them to hear the Richmond chant.
Match entrance is £5/head although Richmond members go free on production of their current membership card – and U16 are free.
Women Development v Wasps Development KO 2pm
This game will be followed by the WOMEN DEVELOPMENT v Wasps game KO 2pm.

Other Saturday games
The VIKINGS are away to Ampthill II KO 1pm whilst the SAXONS and NORMANS are both at home to Bishop’s Stortford KO 2pm and Henley II KO 2.15pm respectively.
The HEAVIES entertain Camberley Vets at home KO 2.30pm.

Sunday 13th January  
The MINIS are all away at the Bank of England apart from the Under 6 who are training at home as usual.

Richmond v Yorkshire Carnegie Saturday 19th January KO 3pm
Next Saturday 19th January the FIRST XV are back home to take on Yorkshire Carnegie KO 3pm. This is a crucial match as they sit just below us in the league table so please be there if possible to support our lads.
The usual pre match lunch is on offer, cost £30/head to include a match programme but not match entrance and bookings are now open.

Sponsored Walk Saturday 30th March
William Rhind is once again donning his walking boots to raise funds for the Gareth Savin Trust and is undertaking a Sponsored Walk on Saturday 30th March, the day of our home game against Jersey.
He is intending to walk from Southwark Tigers Rugby Club to Richmond arriving in time for lunch of course – and is looking for some company along the way. So if you are interested in accompanying him, even if only for part of the way, then please do let me know asap.

Bruce Martin
Sadly I have to report the recent death of Bruce Martin who before suffering a stroke was such a stalwart supporter particularly in the years as we made our way back up the leagues. Our sincere sympathy goes to his family.
