Players Bike Ride to Brussels in aid of Seb’s Fund
At 6.am this morning, 8th August, whilst most of us were still snoozing happily in bed, 11 past and present players (see below) will be taking to the saddle to undertake the annual bike ride that has become something of a fixture in their pre-season calendar to remember their team mate, Seb Adeniran-Olule who died so suddenly in a traffic collision in 2016 aged only 20.
Seb’s mum, Liz has set up a Foundation in his memory, Seb’s Fund, and has been working tirelessly ever since to create something positive out of something so tragic and the players are cycling to Brussels over 3 days to raise funds in aid of this life changing charity.
Their exploits will no doubt be suitably covered through social media and a Virgin Money Giving page has been set up - so please do donate generously to this wonderful cause and in memory of a lovely lad who very quickly became such an integral part of Richmond life – click here for further details and to donate
