Rugby World Cup Final Day Saturday 2nd November: England v South Africa KO 9am/Richmond v Old Elthamians KO 3pm
As we all know this Saturday is Rugby World Cup Final day and hopefully we will be celebrating England raising the trophy for the first time in 16 years!
The club is going to be very busy so please note the following plan of action to hopefully ease congestion and ensure everyone gets to see the match.
The breakfast packages sold out very early on and if you are booked in these will take place in the Members Bar and you will need to register to gain access. For those that are just down to watch the game the Sports Bar will be open, no charge - and of course the canteen will be open selling its usual fare. Both bars will open from 8am.
After the RWC Final the Sports Bar will be cleared through to the Members Bar so that lunch can be set up in the Sports Bar before the men’s FIRST XV match against Old Elthamians KO 3pm. Lunch will sit down later as a result; 1pm for 1.30pm.
Please do stay to watch this match. Richmond sits at the top of National 1 league and play OE for the first time and the match promises to be another exciting challenge.

Other Saturday games
The VIKINGS and NORMANS are both at home to Old Elthamians II and Bournemouth II respectively both KO 2.30pm.

Sunday 3rd November
The MINIS are training normal times.
YOUTH games – Colts v Dorking away, U15 v TBC at home KO 12pm, U13 v Wimbledon KO 12pm on ODP x 2 games.

Sponsor a Player Supper – change of date
The Sponsor a Player supper for the players and their sponsors (CLICK HERE for the latest list to see who is still available) was scheduled for this Saturday November 2nd as well – but given the RWC final we feel there is enough going on and the event will be better held later in the season. We have therefore postponed the date to Saturday 29th February after the game against Canterbury. Further details and the appropriate invites will be sent out nearer the time.

Richmond Fireworks 2019
Don’t forget the Richmond Annual Family Fireworks are also taking place on Sunday. Tickets are selling fast so CLICK HERE to book
