RICHMOND RUGBY EXTRAVAGANZA: SATURDAY 5TH & SUNDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER

Join us at the Athletic Ground on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September for a Richmond Rugby Extravaganza!

 

SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER:

Members Bar & Canteen Open: From 11am

Ready 4 Rugby Festival & Social Afternoon: 12pm-Close

On Saturday 5th September from 12pm-2pm our senior Richmond Men's and Women's sections will be competing in an internal Ready 4 Rugby Tournament (read more about the rules here) on Pitch 1 and the surrounding pitches. The tournament will feature all the current senior squads, including our new players and is set to be an entertaining afternoon of fast-paced non-contact rugby with the very best skills on offer. We will be following all of the latest RFU/Government guidelines to ensure a safe afternoon for everyone.

Following the tournament, we are inviting everyone to enjoy the afternoon at the venue, with Live Premiership Rugby on the TV screens in the bar, with the usual drinks on offer and food available in the canteen. The Bar will be open from 11am. For more information on the RAA's COVID-19 safety measures in place please CLICK HERE

 

SUNDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER:

Richmond Mini & Youth Season Start: From 9am

Our Richmond Mini & Youth season will commence as planned on Sunday 6th September.

Timings:

Mini Girls, U6, U7, U8, U9 & U10 : 9am - 10.15am

U11, U12 & U13: 10.30am - 11.45am

For new members, our Richmond Youth section is very much open to everyone. We offer rugby for all abilities, whether they are new to the game or have never played rugby before, in each and every age group. Please come along, give rugby a try and join our Richmond Family for an exciting 2020/21 season.

Under 4/5 / Pre-School Rugby Classes: 10am-11am

Our Richmond Rugby U4 & U5 / Pre-School Classes will also kick-off on the Sunday from 10am – 11am.

These classes are for Under 4s and Under 5s (boys and girls) and are designed to be fun, structured rugby-based play sessions helping your child with basic hand-eye coordination, catch pass, kicking, scoring etc., whilst learning how to play as part of a team.
