Richmond Rugby will run out at the Richmond Athletic Ground for the final time this season on Saturday 26th April, as we host our oldest rivals, Blackheath, in a fixture steeped in history.

This fixture is one of the sport’s great traditions - a rivalry that stretches back 161 years, rooted in shared history, mutual respect, and a deep commitment to the game. Both Richmond and Blackheath represent what proper community rugby looks like: clubs built on volunteers, families, and generations of players who’ve come through the ranks and worn the shirt with pride. It’s two rugby clubs in the truest sense, continuing a story that began in the 19th century and still means everything today.
