Ex-Richmond player, Takamasa Maruo, who played for the club in the 2021-22 season, will be featuring in the Olympic Rugby Sevens for Japan!

Japan are in Group A and will face New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa.

In addition, to this, ex-Richmond Women's player, Ellie Boatman, who played for the club in the 2020-21 season, will be featuring for Great Britain 7s!

GB 7s are in Group B and will face Ireland, Australia and South Africa.

The Rugby Sevens starts on 24th July and ends on 30th July.
