238 Richmond mini players and parents travelled to Ashford Rugby Club for the 2022 'Ash Bash Minis Tour', the first rugby tour for any of the current minis age groups.

On the pitch, every age group was outstanding. Competition was great, the rugby throughout was exciting and our teams took on some of the best community clubs in the region. We also had a near clean sweep of the 'Spirit of Rugby' awards, voted for by the other participating clubs.

Off the pitch, the kids had fun and laughed. Lasting friendships were formed. Lifelong memories were made. Dads had fun too. The mums had even more fun (apparently). A tour court took place in an actual court. And everyone made it home safely but exhausted.

Thank you to Minis Chair Neil Darke, our coaches, volunteers and parents for working so hard to ensure the 'Ash Bash Minis Tour' was a huge success. Planning now starts for our 2023 Minis Tour. Watch this space!
