Richmond Rugby announced today that Jimmy Wallace, Group Commercial Director and CEO of Richmond Athletic Association is to step down from his role after more than 11 years with the Club.

Wim Bushell, RRL Chairman, said, “We extend our very best wishes to JW as he embarks on the next chapter of his career. Jimmy has been an integral part of our management team and we are grateful for his unwavering dedication and contributions over the years. In recognition of his outstanding service, the Club has conferred Honorary Life Membership upon him and his family. Jimmy’s presence, support and spirit will continue to enrich our club and we look forward to continuing to see him at weekends as a member of the Club.”

Jimmy Wallace added, “It has been a great honour and privilege to work at this fantastic club for the past decade and more. I am very proud of the part I have played in driving the sponsorship programme, developing The RAG as a major events venue in the local community and introducing many new third-party users to the ground. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with a great team over the years, they have been like my second family and I will leave with so many fond memories. With my three boys all playing rugby in the minis and youth sections at the club, I will continue to be found on the touchline supporting them on Sundays or enjoying a drink or two in the bar on match days!”
