This Autumn nearly 2500 kids will be at Richmond Athletic Ground over the first two weekends of October battling it out in the Richmond Rugby Autumn Minis Festivals.

Richmond has been hosting a festival every Autumn & Spring for several years and due to popular demand it has now grown to an event held over two weekends.

On Sunday 6th October just over 1400 kids aged from U7s to U11s will play in a mixed ability festival. The following weekend on Sunday 13th October the U12s and U13s will play in a competitive A & B team tournament. 

Across the two weekends, 30 clubs will be visiting the Athletic Ground from clubs as far afield as Sevenoaks, Brighton and Oxford, as well as more locally from the likes of Barnes, Hammersmith & Fulham, Battersea Ironsides, Teddington and Twickenham to name just a few.  

Over the years Richmond has produced many players who have gone on to play at the top level for both men and woman, but as a community club running multiple senior men & women's sides, and a full programme of mini & youth rugby for boys & girls, festivals like these are where kids develop not just their skills but also their passion for the game.
