Men’s 1st XV vs. Bishop’s Stortford – 3:00 PM
Richmond Women vs. Henley – 5:00 PM
As we enter the business end of the season, every game and every point becomes crucial. This Saturday, Richmond supporters are in for a treat with a blockbuster doubleheader at the RAG, featuring both our Men’s 1st XV and Richmond Women in must-win battles.
Men’s 1st XV: Fighting to Stay on Top
Richmond’s 1st XV are back at home for Round 20 of National 1, sitting at the top of the league with 16 wins from 19 and a two-point lead over Rotherham. With just a handful of games left, the title race is heating up, and every performance counts.
Standing in our way this weekend? Bishop’s Stortford—a side currently 9th in the league but more than capable of causing an upset. They’ll arrive with nothing to lose, but our boys will be fired up to defend home turf and keep the momentum going.
Milestone Alert: Miles Wakeling earns his 50th Richmond cap, a testament to his consistency and impact on the squad.
New Faces: Harlequins loanee Frank McMillan brings his blistering pace to the backline, while Will Goffey returns at hooker, adding power to the pack. These are the only two changes from our hard-fought win over Leicester Lions two weeks ago.
Richmond Women: Closing the Gap at the Top
At 5:00 PM, Richmond Women take centre stage in a crucial Women’s Championship South 1 clash against Henley. Sitting second in the league, we are hunting down leaders Old Albanian Saints, who are just seven points ahead—but we have a game in hand.
A win here keeps the pressure on, and with the home crowd behind them, Richmond Women will be determined to deliver a dominant display.
A True Club Day – Don’t Miss It!
With two elite-level fixtures back-to-back, this is a day Richmond supporters won’t want to miss. Expect huge collisions, electrifying attack, and high-stakes rugby from start to finish.
