About the team

Welcome to our Richmond Minis Girls.

Girls have the option to choose to train with the mixed age "Girls only" section or they can choose to train in the mixed gender age group, which is correct for their age/school year.

At present, the girls from U5 to U11 train together but as the section grows we are hoping we will create an U5-U8 section and then an U9-U11 section.

The Minis Girls periodically take part in Minis Festivals against other clubs both home (we host two of the largest Minis Festivals in the country in October and March) and away at other clubs.

We also go on an end-of-season Tour (last season we took 110 kids plus 100 parents to Devon and Cornwall)!

Manager: Howard Staiano - Email

Training: We train every Sunday from 9:30am-11am (Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start promptly on time).

Pitch Map: Click here to view our pitch map.

Newcomers:  We always welcome newcomers and we offer three free trial sessions to see if your child/ you likes rugby/ us before deciding to join.

Bring a friend: If they would like to bring a friend or friends then please do encourage them to give it a go.

Club Membership: To purchase club membership please click here. For step by step guides on how to purchase your membership click here.

What do you need to bring? Boots (or trainers if the ground is hard), a named water bottle and some good snacks. As the weather gets colder base layers, a hat and some gloves.

Parent/ Guardian Involvement: We encourage parents/ guardians to get involved as we rely on volunteers to help run the club and to keep costs down. We have an active community of parent volunteers, some of whom have been doing it for years. The feedback is they find it very rewarding and often their favourite time of the week! Plus kids love showing off to their parents! If you don’t want to get involved, that’s fine too, we have a lovely coffee truck and hot food in the canteen.
